About

Security Technology Built for the Real World

Craig Bruce is COO of CTS Security, a multi-state physical security integrator specializing in complex security deployments.

My career has been built around technology, infrastructure and solving complex operational challenges. Today, my focus is physical security technology, helping organizations modernize legacy systems and build integrated security environments that perform reliably in the real world.

I work across the full lifecycle of a project, from evaluating existing infrastructure and developing a strategy through design, deployment, integration and ongoing operations.

That includes video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, intercoms, networking, fiber infrastructure, security operations centers and cloud-managed physical security platforms.

I'm particularly interested in environments where security technology has to perform at scale and under pressure.

Because a security system isn't successful simply because the technology works.

It has to work for the people operating it.

Public Service

Craig also serves on the Volusia County Contractor Licensing and Construction Appeals Board, bringing his experience in business operations, construction, infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and technology to public service in his local community.

Featured Project

Hard Rock Stadium Security Transformation

Modernizing physical security infrastructure for one of the world's most complex sports and entertainment venues.

I helped lead CTS's work supporting the transformation of physical security infrastructure at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins.

The project involved transitioning legacy, on-premises security infrastructure toward an integrated cloud-managed environment spanning video surveillance, access control, alarms and guest management.

The deployment encompasses approximately 850 cameras and 380 access-controlled doors, along with alarm, intercom and supporting infrastructure.

But the scale is only part of the story.

Hard Rock Stadium operates as multiple environments within a single campus. In addition to Miami Dolphins operations, the venue hosts major international events including the Miami Open and Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.

That means security technology has to support dramatically different operating conditions while remaining reliable, accessible and scalable.

The objective wasn't simply to replace equipment.

It was to help create a unified security environment capable of supporting everyday operations and some of the world's largest live events.

Our work has included:

  • Existing infrastructure documentation and mapping
  • Cloud security migration
  • Video surveillance
  • Access control
  • Alarm and intercom systems
  • Ethernet and fiber infrastructure
  • Long-range and elevated PTZ deployments
  • License plate recognition integrations
  • Security Operations Center improvements
  • Temporary and mobile security deployments
  • Support for major live events
